Paris Opera Ballet Is Headed to New York

작년에 마린스키 발레단이 왔던 링컨센터 페스티벌.

올해는 파리오페라발레단이 온다고 해서 스케쥴이 뜨기를 이제나저제나 기다렸는데 1월초부터 난다더니 계속 연기에 연기.

검색을 해보니 작년에 이 기사가 떴다.

DC의 케네디 센터 스케쥴이 7월 5일~8일로 공지가 났으므로 11일~22일이 얼추 맞을듯. ㅠ.ㅠ

7월초에 오기를 바랬는데 예정일에 너무 빠듯하다. 보고싶은데. 엉엉.

DC까지 가는 건 더 무리고. ㅠ.ㅠ

엄니도 7월 초에 오신대고….

제일 첫날이나 둘째날 표 하나만 사야지. ^^

Paris Opera Ballet Is Headed to New York

Between the Frederick Wiseman documentary “La Danse” and live HD showings, the Paris Opera Ballet has been a frequent presence on New York screens in recent years. But onstage is another matter: the company hasn’t performed in New York City since 1996. That absence is now being rectified: The troupe has announced that it will appear in the 2012 Lincoln Center Festival as part of its first American tour in more than a decade.

After stops in Chicago (at the Harris Theater) and Washington (at the Kennedy Center), it will take up residence in New York from July 11 to  22 next year, performing “Suite en Blanc,” “L’Arlésienne,” “Bolero,” “Giselle” and Pina Bausch’s version of “Orpheus and Eurydice.” The company last visited the United States — specifically San Francisco and Los Angeles — in 2001.
